Lahore, March 16, 2025: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued a legal notice to South African all-rounder Corbin Bosch for breaching his Pakistan Super League (PSL) contract.
Bosch, picked by Peshawar Zalmi in the Diamond category during the PSL 2025 draft, was expected to play a key role for the franchise. However, he is reportedly considering withdrawing from the tournament to join Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL) as a replacement for injured pacer Lizaad Williams.
In a statement, the PCB confirmed the legal notice was sent through Bosch’s agent, demanding justification for his withdrawal and outlining possible repercussions. The board expects a response within the stipulated time and has declined further comment.
Bosch, 30, has yet to make his IPL debut but was previously a reserve player for Rajasthan Royals. He gained recognition in the SA20 league, playing a crucial role in MI Cape Town’s title-winning campaign with 11 wickets in seven innings at an economy rate of 8.68.
If his move to Mumbai Indians materializes, Bosch will reunite with SA20 teammate Ryan Rickelton and bolster the franchise’s seam-bowling all-rounder options alongside captain Hardik Pandya and Raj Bawa.
