Lahore, April 14, 2025: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Monday apprehended 10 suspected terrorists during a series of intelligence-based operations (IBOs) conducted in various cities across Punjab.

According to a CTD spokesperson, the operations were carried out in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Bahawalpur, and Jhelum. Among those arrested were two high-profile militants — Badal Singh and Suraj Singh — who were captured in Rawalpindi and are originally from Nankana Sahib.

During the raids, CTD personnel recovered improvised explosive devices (IEDs), 16 detonators, extremist pamphlets, cash, and mobile phones.

The arrests are part of the department’s ongoing crackdown on terror networks operating within the province. Further investigations are underway.
