Rawalpindi, May 12, 2025: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir visited the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Rawalpindi on Monday to meet soldiers and civilians injured during Marka-e-Haq and Operation Bunyanum Marsoos, the military’s response to recent Indian aggression, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.

The Army Chief personally met each of the wounded, praised their courage and unwavering commitment, and assured them of the armed forces’ full support in their medical care, rehabilitation, and long-term welfare.

“Our civilians’ and soldiers’ valour and sacrifice form the cornerstone of Pakistan’s security,” the COAS said. “The entire nation stands in resolute solidarity with every member of its armed forces.”

General Munir emphasised that no hostile design or aggression could weaken the resolve of Pakistan’s armed forces. He lauded the military’s coordinated and decisive response during Marka-e-Haq and Operation Bunyanum Marsoos as a historic and defining moment, made possible by the unity between the military and the Pakistani people.

“The resolute and unified response during this critical time, supported by the unwavering spirit of our nation, will be remembered as a defining chapter in our military history,” the Army Chief concluded.
