Rawalpindi, May 19, 2025: Pakistan’s security forces killed three terrorists affiliated with the Indian-sponsored Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) in two separate operations conducted in Balochistan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced on Monday.
According to the military’s media wing, an intelligence-based operation (IBO) was carried out in the Gishkur area of Awaran District following confirmed reports regarding the presence of Indian-backed militants.
During the operation, troops engaged the terrorists’ hideout, leading to a fierce exchange of fire. One terrorist, identified as Younas, was killed, while two others sustained injuries.
In a separate operation in Turbat City, Kech District, security forces successfully neutralized two more Indian-sponsored militants, including ringleader Sabr Ullah and Amjad Bichoo.
The ISPR reported that a cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was recovered from the deceased militants, who were allegedly involved in several attacks on law enforcement personnel as well as targeted killings of civilians.
“Sanitisation operations are underway in the surrounding areas to eliminate any remaining threats,” the statement added.
The ISPR reaffirmed the resolve of the armed forces, stating:
“Pakistan’s security forces, with the support of the nation, remain fully committed to defeating all efforts by Indian proxies to destabilize Balochistan and derail the province’s peace, security, and development.”
