Islamabad, May 27, 2025: Youm-e-Takbir, marking Pakistan’s historic nuclear tests of May 28, 1998, will be celebrated with full national enthusiasm across the country tomorrow. Commemorative events and rallies have been planned to honor the day as a symbol of national pride and defense.

Major ceremonies will take place in Peshawar and Mirpur, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, where Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan, SAFRON, and President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Amir Muqam, will be the chief guest, according to an official press release.

Special celebrations are also scheduled in Gilgit-Baltistan, highlighting the national spirit of unity and strength.

Amir Muqam is set to address the central rally in Mirpur, where he will speak on the significance of Youm-e-Takbir and reaffirm the nation’s resolve to uphold its sovereignty and dignity.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, preparations are complete for province-wide events led by PML-N. The main ceremony will be held at the party’s provincial secretariat in Peshawar, where Amir Muqam will deliver a keynote address.

All wings of PML-N across the province have been directed to organize rallies and events in celebration of Youm-e-Takbir and Muarka-e-Haq, which symbolize the nation’s unwavering commitment to national defense and integrity.

In a message ahead of the celebrations, Amir Muqam emphasized that Youm-e-Takbir and Muarka-e-Haq represent Pakistan’s historic declaration of strength, stating: “These occasions are a reminder that Pakistan will never compromise on its national dignity or defense.”

Amir Muqam also extended greetings to PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, praising their leadership in upholding Pakistan’s security and sovereignty.
