Sahiwal, June 15, 2025: A tragic incident occurred on Sahiwal-Multan Road near Sadiq Feeds Mill, where a dispute between Motorway Police officer Shamoon and a young man named Abrar over a traffic fine allegedly led to the death of Abrar’s mother due to a heart attack.

According to eyewitness accounts, the altercation began when motorway police stopped Abrar for riding without a helmet and issued him a challan (fine). Abrar pleaded with the officers not to issue the ticket but eventually paid the fine. He then recorded a video of the sub-inspector, which reportedly angered the officer.

In response, the sub-inspector allegedly threatened to arrest Abrar, snatched his mobile phone, and ignored repeated pleas from Abrar and his mother. During the heated exchange, the woman was allegedly pushed and collapsed on the spot, suffering a fatal heart attack.

The deceased woman was a resident of Chichawatni.

Following the incident, the woman’s family attempted to stage a protest by placing her body on the road, demanding justice and action against the involved officers.

Local authorities have yet to issue an official statement regarding the incident.
