Islamabad, July 28, 2025: An important review meeting was held at the CDA Headquarters on Monday under the chairmanship of Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa to assess progress on development works in various sectors of the capital.

Senior officials including Member Administration and Estate Talat Mahmood, Member Engineering Syed Nafasat Raza, Member Planning Dr Khalid Hafiz, DG Works, DC CDA, and other key officers attended the meeting.

The meeting focused on the development status of sectors C-14, C-15, C-16, E-12, and I-12. Chairman Randhawa directed that development work be expedited without any compromise on quality or standards. He emphasized that the relevant CDA directorates, especially the DC CDA office, should establish field offices in the respective sectors to provide timely services and resolve public grievances at their doorstep.

The Chairman instructed that camp offices operate transparently and address citizens’ concerns in line with legal and ethical standards. He also stressed the need for modern, aesthetically designed lighting and improved road infrastructure across new sectors to enhance urban appeal and safety.

Highlighting urban planning goals, Chairman Randhawa ordered the widening of main entry points, removal of encroachments, and strict action against illegal constructions in accordance with the law. He urged special attention to the installation of lights and overall beautification of all active development zones.

He further instructed that all hurdles impeding development in CDA sectors be removed on a priority basis. Applauding the successful auction of commercial plots, he commended the performance of all concerned departments and directed the Finance Wing to ensure timely release of funds to keep development projects on track.

Chairman Randhawa reiterated CDA’s commitment to transforming Islamabad into a model city through high-quality, citizen-centric development. “All resources are being utilized efficiently and transparently to address the housing needs of the capital’s residents,” he stated.
