Islamabad, August 22, 2025: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has strongly condemned the arrest of Aleema Khan’s second son, Sher Shah.

In a statement issued on Friday, PTI said the arrest of Sheer Shah, son of PTI founder’s sister Aleema Khan, was “a blatant violation of law and justice.”

The statement added, “This arrest is equivalent to carrying out a public funeral of law and justice. PTI asks: where is the Constitution? Where is the law? Where is justice?”

Calling the move an example of “oppression and barbarity,” the party said it proves that “the law of the jungle prevails in Pakistan.” PTI further urged the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take immediate notice of what it called “open aggression.”
