Dubai, September 12, 2025: Wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Haris struck a maiden T20I half-century to guide Pakistan to a competitive 160 for 7 against Oman in the fourth match of the ACC Men’s T20 Asia Cup 2025 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Friday.

Put in to bat after winning the toss, Pakistan suffered an early setback when opener Saim Ayub departed for a golden duck with only four runs on the board. Haris then led the recovery, stitching together a crucial 85-run partnership with Sahibzada Farhan for the second wicket.

Farhan contributed 29 off 29 balls before falling to Aamir Kaleem, who went on to dismiss both Haris — top scorer with a fluent 66 off 43 deliveries, including seven fours and three sixes — and captain Salman Ali Agha (0) in quick succession.

Pakistan’s middle order wobbled, but Fakhar Zaman’s unbeaten 23 off 16 balls and a late cameo from Mohammad Nawaz (19 off 10) helped the side post a defendable total.

For Oman, Aamir Kaleem (3/27) and Faisal (3/34) shared six wickets between them, while Muhammad Nadeem picked up one.

Pakistan now look to their bowlers to defend the total and maintain their strong start to the Asia Cup, while Oman aim for their first win of the tournament.
