Rawalpindi, September 30, 2025: The Pakistan Army on Tuesday conducted a successful training launch of the newly-inducted, indigenously developed Fatah-4 ground-launched cruise missile with a range of 750 kilometres, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.
Equipped with advanced avionics and modern navigational systems, the Fatah-4 is designed with terrain-hugging capabilities, allowing it to evade enemy missile defence systems and strike targets with high precision.
ISPR said the induction of Fatah-4 under the Army Rocket Force Command will significantly boost the reach, lethality, and survivability of Pakistan’s conventional missile arsenal.
The launch was witnessed by the chief of general staff, senior military officers, and scientists and engineers involved in the programme. The president, prime minister, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), and services chiefs congratulated the troops, scientists, and engineers on the achievement.
Earlier in May, amid heightened tensions with India, Pakistan carried out two training launches of another missile in the Fatah series — a surface-to-surface weapon system with a range of 120 kilometres — during the ongoing military exercise Indus.
