Dubai, November 5, 2025: Pakistan’s cricket stars Babar Azam and Shaheen Afridi have dropped in the latest ICC ODI rankings, while several teammates — including Mohammad Rizwan, Salman Ali Agha, and Saim Ayub — have made notable progress across both ODI and T20I formats.

In the ODI batting charts, former captain Babar Azam slipped one place to fifth with 728 points, while wicketkeeper-batter Rizwan and opener Fakhar Zaman climbed to 23rd and 26th, respectively.

Middle-order batter Salman Ali Agha surged nine spots to 30th after his solid knock against South Africa, earning 569 points. Imam-ul-Haq dropped to 42nd, while Saim Ayub held steady at 53rd.

At the top, India’s Rohit Sharma retained the No. 1 position, followed by Afghanistan’s Ibrahim Zadran and New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell, who rose to third.

In ODI bowling, Shaheen Afridi fell to 15th, while Naseem Shah climbed 10 places to 33rd. Spinner Abrar Ahmed rose to 37th, and all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz advanced to 69th. Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan continues to lead the ODI bowlers’ chart.

In the T20I rankings, Babar Azam made a strong comeback, rising nine places to 30th after impressive performances against South Africa. Saim Ayub jumped 10 spots to 39th, while T20I captain Salman Ali Agha moved to 54th. Rizwan slipped slightly to 42nd, and Fakhar Zaman fell to 63rd.

India’s Abhishek Sharma, England’s Phil Salt, and India’s Tilak Varma occupy the top three positions among T20I batters.

In the T20I bowling rankings, Abrar Ahmed remained at eighth, while Shaheen Afridi improved to 13th. Young pacer Salman Mirza made headlines with a dramatic 98-place jump to 45th, and Faheem Ashraf rose 50 spots to 51st.

Among T20I all-rounders, Saim Ayub continues to reign as world No. 1, followed by Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza and West Indies’ Roston Chase. Mohammad Nawaz dropped to 10th, while Faheem Ashraf climbed to 30th after a string of strong all-round performances.
