Lahore, December 13, 2025: Non-official results of the Punjab Bar Council elections have been released, showing a decisive victory for the Asma Jahangir Group, which won 8 out of 11 seats in the provincial elections.
Among the successful candidates from the Asma Jahangir Group are Azam Nazir Tarrar, Ahsan Bhon, and Pir Masood Chishti, reflecting strong support within Punjab’s legal community.
The Hamid Khan Group secured 2 seats, with Salman Akram Raja and Shafqat Chauhan emerging victorious, indicating that while the group retains a presence in Punjab’s bar politics, the Asma Jahangir Group has clearly taken the lead.
