Karachi, December 18, 2025: The Pakistan men’s cricket team is scheduled to tour the West Indies for a two-match Test series in July-August next year, Cricket West Indies (CWI) vice-president Azim Bassarath announced on Wednesday.
Speaking at an executive luncheon at the National Cricket Centre in Balmain, Bassarath, who also serves as president of the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board (TTCB), confirmed that the tour will take place from July 15 to August 7, 2026. The itinerary includes a four-day warm-up match at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy (BLCA), followed by the first Test at Queen’s Park Oval and the second Test at the BLCA.
Bassarath highlighted that the BLCA has now been fully accredited as an international venue capable of hosting matches in all formats.
The upcoming red-ball tour aligns with Pakistan’s Future Tour Programme (FTP), although the complete match schedule is yet to be finalised.
For context, Pakistan toured the West Indies earlier this year for three-match ODI and T20I series, while the last Test series between the two sides, held in January 2025, ended in a 1-1 draw. Pakistan’s previous Test series in the Caribbean took place in 2021, which also concluded with a 1-1 result.
