NA Speaker approves appointment of Mr. Saeed Ahmed Maitla as acting Secretary National Assembly

Islamabad, January 1, 2025: Speaker National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has approved the appointment of Additional Secretary (Administration), Mr. Saeed Ahmed Maitla, as Acting Secretary of the National Assembly.

In this regard, a formal notification has been issued by the National Assembly Secretariat. Mr. Saeed Ahmed Maitla has assumed charge and will perform his duties as Acting Secretary National Assembly with immediate effect.

It is pertinent to mention that this appointment has been made following the completion of the service tenure and subsequent retirement of the Former Secretary General National Assembly, Mr. Tahir Hussain.
