Islamabad, January 2, 2026: Responding to media queries on the situation in Yemen, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesperson Tahir Andrabi reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to resolving the conflict through dialogue and diplomacy.

He said Pakistan remains committed to the unity and territorial integrity of Yemen and expressed hope that positive steps undertaken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates will contribute to a peaceful resolution of the crisis.

Mr. Andrabi appreciated the “wisdom and far-sightedness” of the Saudi and UAE leadership in addressing the situation, noting that their efforts reflect a shared commitment to regional peace and stability.

He added that Pakistan is ready to play a constructive role in strengthening the values of partnership, brotherhood, and unity to promote lasting peace and stability in the region.
