Talking to a delegation of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) at NAB Headquarters, the chairman reiterated NAB’s commitment to fostering a purely business-friendly environment that enables enterprises to grow and contribute effectively to national economic development.

The ICCI delegation was led by President Sardar Tahir Mehmood and included Chairman ICCI Founder Group Sheikh Tariq Sadiq, Senior Vice President Tahir Ayub, and former Vice President Saif ur Rehman, who paid a courtesy call on the NAB chairman.

Nazir Ahmed said NAB is actively engaged in public awareness campaigns and maintains close interaction with relevant institutions to promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and integrity across society. He noted that the Bureau is adopting a broader and forward-looking approach, with equal emphasis on prevention, awareness, and the promotion of strong ethical values, alongside enforcement.

Accepting an invitation from the ICCI president, the NAB chairman also pledged to visit the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the earliest to interact directly with the business community through a dedicated seminar aimed at building mutual trust and understanding.

Speaking on the occasion, ICCI President Sardar Tahir Mehmood welcomed the chairman’s initiatives to promote transparent and fair accountability. He said the chairman’s visit to ICCI would help boost the confidence of the business community and encourage entrepreneurs to play a proactive role in the economic prosperity of Islamabad and the country.

Chairman ICCI Founder Group Sheikh Tariq Sadiq and Senior Vice President Tahir Ayub also lauded the NAB chairman for his commitment, professionalism, and dedication to strengthening accountability while supporting genuine business activity, terming it essential for sustainable economic growth and national progress.
