Davos, January 21, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar inaugurated the Pathfinder Group’s Pakistan Pavilion on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2026 in Davos.
Speaking on the occasion, the DPM/FM appreciated the initiative aimed at showcasing Pakistan’s vast economic potential and emerging opportunities on a global platform. He also highlighted the dynamism, creativity, and innovation of Pakistani start-ups being presented at the pavilion.
Senator Ishaq Dar underscored the critical role of start-ups in promoting socio-economic development and driving innovation across a wide range of sectors. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to facilitating and supporting entrepreneurs, particularly youth-led start-ups, to help unlock and fully realize Pakistan’s economic potential.
The Pakistan Pavilion attracted interest from international participants, investors, and policymakers attending the WEF, offering a snapshot of the country’s evolving entrepreneurial ecosystem.
