Ishaq Dar, Russian Ambassador review bilateral ties, condemn Islamabad terror attack

Islamabad, February 7, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar received the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Pakistan, Albert P. Khorev, to discuss matters of mutual interest and further strengthen bilateral relations.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed the entire spectrum of Pakistan-Russia relations and reaffirmed their shared commitment to deepening cooperation across various sectors.

Ambassador Khorev conveyed condolences over the tragic loss of lives in the recent terrorist attack at a mosque during Friday prayers in Islamabad. Deputy Prime Minister Dar strongly condemned the heinous act, reiterating Pakistan’s unwavering resolve to combat terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, and expressed solidarity with the victims’ families.
