Islamabad, February 10, 2026: Pakistan has extended its deepest condolences to the Government and people of the Syrian Arab Republic following the tragic loss of lives and widespread damage caused by recent flash floods in north-west Syria, particularly in Idlib and Latakia.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Pakistan’s thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families, while wishing a speedy recovery to those injured in the natural disaster.
The government reaffirmed its solidarity with Syria during this difficult time, expressing support for the affected communities in the aftermath of the devastating floods.
