Karachi, March 2, 2026: Pakistani singer Aima Baig has called for greater sensitivity on social media after a viral clip of Indian rapper Badshah addressing rumours about Pakistani actress Hania Aamir’s alleged wedding spread widely online.

In the video, Badshah wished Aamir well and hinted at possible future collaborations, noting that any projects would depend on improving India– Pakistan relations and public sentiment. While his remarks were diplomatic, the clip quickly attracted attention for its cross-border context.

Baig responded directly in the comments, urging followers to consider the ongoing global crisis. She wrote: “Looking at what’s happening in the world right now — a huge tragedy just occurred. Posting about what a rapper said about what, who, and where… seems disrespectful. May ALLAH grant him the highest of all RIP, but do you think this news was worth posting?”

She reinforced her message on Instagram stories, adding: “Please respect what we are going through. This isn’t a joke. Social media content that can wait should wait. Don’t turn this into a jab at anyone — just fear God and show respect.”

Her comments come amid heightened regional tensions following the US and Israeli strikes on Iran and the assassination of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, alongside ongoing security concerns between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Badshah’s original statement had already acknowledged the sensitive nature of cross-border collaborations, emphasizing that both public sentiment and the diplomatic climate would shape any potential projects with Hania Aamir.

Baig’s intervention highlights a growing call among public figures for social media responsibility during periods of international crisis.
