Islamabad, March 10, 2026: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar, held a late-night telephone conversation with Bahrain’s Foreign Minister, Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, to discuss the evolving security situation in the Middle East and the wider region.
During the call, the two leaders exchanged views on recent developments and expressed serious concern over the escalating tensions, including the latest attacks reported in Bahrain.
Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong solidarity with Bahrain and its people during the difficult period. He underscored the importance of restraint, dialogue, and diplomatic engagement to prevent further escalation.
The deputy prime minister stressed that peaceful efforts and constructive dialogue were essential for ensuring long-term peace and stability across the region.
Both sides agreed on the need to maintain close coordination and continue diplomatic engagement amid the rapidly evolving regional situation.
