​President Zardari felicitates the leadership of Mauritius on National Day

​Islamabad, March 12,2026: President Asif Ali Zardari has extended his warm felicitations to the President of the Republic of Mauritius, Mr. Dharambeer Gokhool, G.C.S.K, the Government and the friendly people of Mauritius on the auspicious occasion of their National Day.

​The President highlighted that Pakistan attaches great importance to its cordial relations with Mauritius, which are marked by mutual trust and constructive cooperation at both bilateral and multilateral fora. It is encouraging to see the growing engagement between the leadership of both nations and the steady expansion of cooperation in areas of shared interest. There is a considerable potential to further strengthen collaboration through enhanced people-to-people contacts, as well as in the fields of trade, education, culture and tourism, said the President.

​President Zardari expressed his confidence that the friendly relations between the two countries would continue to deepen in the years ahead, to the mutual benefit of the people of both countries.

The ​President conveyed his best wishes for the good health and happiness of President Gokhool and for the continued peace, progress and prosperity of the people of Mauritius.
