Islamabad, April 8, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation on Wednesday with Qatar’s Minister of State Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, focusing on the latest developments in the region.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dar briefed the Qatari minister on Pakistan’s sustained diplomatic efforts aimed at promoting dialogue and encouraging peaceful engagement to ensure stability in the region.
During the call, Al-Khulaifi appreciated Pakistan’s proactive role and commended Islamabad’s constructive efforts in fostering peace amid ongoing regional tensions.
He also conveyed the best wishes of Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani to Dar.
Both sides reaffirmed the importance of continued diplomatic engagement and coordination to address evolving regional challenges and advance long-term peace and stability.
The interaction forms part of Pakistan’s broader diplomatic outreach as it intensifies engagement with key regional partners to support dialogue and de-escalation efforts.
