Karachi, April 13, 2026: The Pakistan Airports Authority announced that AirSial has commenced its inaugural Airbus A320 service on the Islamabad–Sukkur route, further strengthening domestic air connectivity across the country.
According to an official statement issued from the Authority’s headquarters in Karachi, the inaugural flight (SIF152) departed from Islamabad International Airport and arrived in Sukkur at 12:10 PM, carrying 37 passengers. The return flight (SIF153) departed Sukkur at 1:12 PM with 39 passengers on board.
Operated using a modern Airbus A320, the new service aims to provide a direct, efficient, and comfortable travel option between the federal capital and interior Sindh.
Initially, the airline will operate one weekly flight on the route, offering improved accessibility and facilitating business, tourism, and regional mobility.
A spokesperson for the Pakistan Airports Authority stated that the launch reflects ongoing efforts to enhance domestic connectivity and expand air travel options, contributing to economic growth and regional integration across Pakistan.
