Islamabad, April 13, 2026: A diplomat from the Embassy of Malaysia in Pakistan has commended Pakistan for its pivotal role in facilitating dialogue between the United States and Iran, describing Islamabad’s efforts as a significant contribution to regional peace and stability.

In a message shared on social media, the Malaysian diplomat lauded the Government of Pakistan for stepping forward to mediate the recent US–Iran peace talks. The remarks underscored Pakistan’s growing diplomatic stature and its commitment to promoting constructive engagement amid global tensions.

“While the negotiations in Islamabad concluded without a final agreement, the effort itself reflects Pakistan’s strong commitment to dialogue, diplomacy, and regional stability,” the diplomat stated.

The message further emphasized that in an increasingly divided world, choosing the path of peace sends a powerful signal. Pakistan’s proactive role in hosting and facilitating negotiations was highlighted as a testament to its dedication to conflict resolution through peaceful means.

Beyond diplomacy, the diplomat also praised Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage and natural beauty, noting its vibrant traditions, diverse cuisine, and renowned hospitality. From majestic mountain ranges to historic cities, the country was described as a nation that not only strives for peace but also offers remarkable cultural and scenic treasures to the world.

The appreciation reflects strengthening ties between Malaysia and Pakistan, as well as international recognition of Islamabad’s efforts to foster dialogue and stability in a complex geopolitical environment.
