Belarus Envoy meets economic affairs Secretary to review bilateral cooperation

Islamabad, April 17, 2026: The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Belarus, Andrei Metelitsa, met with Federal Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Muhammad Humair Karim, to discuss avenues of bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed preparations for the upcoming 9th Session of the Joint Belarusian-Pakistani Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, a key platform for enhancing economic ties between the two countries.

The discussions also focused on the current status and future prospects in priority areas of cooperation, with an emphasis on strengthening trade, investment, and economic collaboration.

The meeting reflects continued engagement between Pakistan and Belarus to expand mutually beneficial partnerships across various sectors.
