Islamabad, April 21, 2026: Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong called on Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Tuesday to discuss evolving regional developments.
During the meeting, Ambassador Jiang appreciated Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic efforts to facilitate engagement between the United States and Iran, expressing China’s full support for initiatives aimed at promoting sustained peace and stability in the region and beyond.
The two sides also reaffirmed the longstanding “All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership” between Pakistan and China, highlighting the depth and resilience of bilateral ties.
Deputy Prime Minister Dar emphasized the importance of continued high-level exchanges and close coordination to further strengthen cooperation across multiple sectors.
