Islamabad, April 25, 2026: President Asif Ali Zardari will undertake an official visit to China from April 25 to May 1, 2026, at the invitation of the Chinese government, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Saturday.
During the visit, the president will travel to Changsha from April 25 to 27, followed by a trip to Sanya from April 28 to May 1.
President Zardari is scheduled to hold meetings with provincial leadership in both cities, where discussions will focus on strengthening bilateral relations, with particular emphasis on economic and trade cooperation as well as progress under the China–Pakistan Economic Corridor.
The visit forms part of the longstanding tradition of high-level exchanges between Pakistan and China and comes at a significant time as the two countries mark the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations this year.
According to the Foreign Office, the visit underscores the shared commitment of both sides to further deepen their “All-weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership” and expand collaboration across multiple sectors.
