Tajik Ambassador meets Minister of Commerce

Islamabad, April 29,2026: A meeting was held between the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Pakistan, Mr. Yusuf Sharifzoda, and the Minister of Commerce of Pakistan, Mr. Jam Kamal Khan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to the development of bilateral relations, particularly in the fields of trade, economy, and investment.

Special attention was given to expanding trade turnover, strengthening business ties, and utilizing the broad potential for economic and commercial cooperation.

The sides also emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation in the areas of transport and logistics, as well as further expanding trade relations.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties expressed their readiness to further strengthen cooperation between Tajikistan and Pakistan.
