Rawalpindi, November 10, 2024 – Security forces have killed four militants in two separate clashes in the North Waziristan district, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The first operation, based on intelligence, took place in the Spinwam area of North Waziristan, where security forces successfully targeted a militant hideout. Following an intense exchange of fire, two militants were killed.

In a second incident, security forces monitored a group of militants attempting to cross the Pakistan-Afghanistan border into Pakistan near Spinwam. The militants were trying to infiltrate the country when forces responded quickly and thwarted the infiltration attempt. Two militants were killed, and two others were injured in the firefight.

A clearance operation is still underway in the area to eliminate any remaining militants. ISPR reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to securing its borders and eradicating terrorism from the region.
