Quetta, November 10, 2024-Funeral prayers for the martyrs of a tragic suicide blast at Quetta Railway Station were held today at Quetta Garrison. The blast targeted innocent citizens and passengers, resulting in multiple casualties. The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Syed Asim Munir, attended the funeral alongside the Federal Minister of Interior, the Governor and Chief Minister of Balochistan, provincial ministers, and a large gathering of military and civilian officials.

Following the prayers, the COAS visited CMH Quetta to meet with the injured victims. He condemned terrorism as intolerable and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to eliminating this threat. Emphasizing national unity, he stressed that the fight against terrorism requires the steadfast support of every Pakistani, alongside the coordinated efforts of military and civil institutions, to secure a peaceful and prosperous future for the nation.
