Nehal Hashmi calls on Speaker National Assembly

Islamabad: 17th June 2026: Governor Sindh, Mr. Nehal Hashmi called on Speaker National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq at the Parliament House, Islamabad, today.

During the meeting, matters of national importance, parliamentary affairs, and issues pertaining to the welfare and development of the people of Sindh were discussed in detail. Both dignitaries exchanged views on the overall political situation in the country and emphasized the need for strengthening democratic institutions and parliamentary traditions.

Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has congratulated Mr. Nehal Hashmi on assuming the office of Governor Sindh and expressed confidence that his extensive political experience and commitment to public service would contribute significantly to the progress and prosperity of the province.

NA Speaker underscored the importance of close coordination between the Federation and the provinces to address public concerns effectively and ensure inclusive national development.

Governor Sindh, Mr. Nehal Hashmi thanked the Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq for his good wishes and reaffirmed his commitment to serving the people of Sindh with dedication and sincerity. He appreciated Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq for administrating the proceedings of the House with impartiality.

Federal Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control, Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, Member National Assembly Mr. Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani, and Member National Assembly, Mr. Abdul Qadir Patel, State Minister Interior and Narcotics Control Mr. Talal Chaudhry were also present during the meeting.
