Islamabad, July 1, 2026: First Lady Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, MNA, has congratulated Ms. Han Seong-sook on her appointment as Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea, describing it as a significant milestone for women’s leadership and public service.
In her congratulatory message, the First Lady said Ms. Han’s appointment reflects her distinguished record of leadership in the fields of technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship. She noted that the appointment marks an important step forward in advancing the role of women in leadership and governance.
“As the First Lady of Pakistan and as the daughter of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, the first woman Prime Minister of Pakistan and the Muslim world, it is my singular honour and privilege to extend my heartfelt congratulations to you on your appointment as Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea.
