Islamabad, July 13, 2026: Participants of the 16th National Media Workshop (NMW), organized by the Institute for Strategic Studies, Research and Analysis (ISSRA) at the National Defence University (NDU), visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday as part of the workshop’s academic programme.
According to the Foreign Office, Spokesperson Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan briefed the 85-member delegation on Pakistan’s foreign policy priorities, the evolving regional and global environment, and the ministry’s role in promoting and safeguarding the country’s national interests through diplomacy.
The briefing highlighted Pakistan’s key diplomatic objectives and the Foreign Office’s efforts to navigate emerging regional and international challenges while advancing the country’s strategic and economic interests.
The session was followed by an interactive question-and-answer discussion, during which participants engaged with the spokesperson on various aspects of Pakistan’s foreign policy.
The visiting delegation comprised 85 participants representing the media, civil society and political parties from across the country.
