Port of Spain, August 5, 2026: Pakistan’s spin duo of Sajid Khan and Ali Usman produced a dominant bowling display to dismiss the West Indies for just 117 in their second innings on the fourth day of the second and final Test at Queen’s Park Oval on Wednesday, leaving the visitors well placed to level the two-match series.
Resuming the day at 103 for six, the West Indies could add only 14 runs before losing their remaining wickets, with injured opener Brandon King unable to bat after sustaining a lower-back injury on the previous day.
Left-arm spinner Ali Usman, who had ended the third day’s play by dismissing West Indies captain Roston Chase with the final ball, struck again shortly after the resumption by clean bowling Kemar Roach for a duck.
Justin Greaves, who resumed unbeaten overnight, attempted to steady the innings alongside Shamar Joseph with a brief 12-run partnership for the eighth wicket. However, Pakistan quickly wrapped up the innings as fast bowler Mohammad Ali removed Greaves for three before Usman dismissed Joseph for nine in the following over.
The hosts were eventually bowled out for 117 in 46.1 overs after a disciplined and clinical performance by Pakistan’s bowlers.
Sajid Khan and Ali Usman spearheaded the attack with four wickets each, exploiting the deteriorating surface to devastating effect. Fast bowler Mohammad Ali chipped in with one wicket as Pakistan tightened their grip on the contest.
Pakistan’s bowlers had earlier reduced the West Indies to 103 for six by stumps on the third day after Abdullah Shafique’s magnificent unbeaten 160 guided the visitors to a first-innings total of 387, giving them a valuable lead.
With the West Indies dismissed cheaply in their second innings, Pakistan were left with a modest target to chase as they sought to level the series after suffering a 90-run defeat in the opening Test.
