Islamabad, August 25, 2026: President Asif Ali Zardari has congratulated President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the people of Kazakhstan on the successful conduct and completion of elections to the Kurultai.
The President commended the people of Kazakhstan for their participation in the democratic process and conveyed his best wishes to the newly elected Kurultai.
President Zardari reiterated Pakistan’s desire to further strengthen the close and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Kazakhstan, describing the ties between the two countries as rooted in mutual respect, shared interests and growing cooperation.
He expressed confidence that the longstanding relationship between Islamabad and Astana would continue to expand across diverse areas of mutual interest
