Islamabad, August 27, 2026: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has praised outgoing Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki for his contribution to strengthening the longstanding fraternal and strategic relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
The Prime Minister expressed these views during a farewell call by Ambassador Al-Malki at the PM House in Islamabad following completion of his diplomatic assignment in Pakistan.
Shehbaz Sharif congratulated the Saudi envoy on the successful completion of his tenure and lauded his “outstanding contribution” towards further deepening the close and strategic ties between the two brotherly countries.
The Prime Minister conveyed his warm regards and best wishes for the health and well-being of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
He reaffirmed Pakistan’s deep appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s steadfast support and generous assistance to Pakistan, as well as the Kingdom’s important role in promoting peace and stability in the region.
Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister, the Government and people of Pakistan for the warmth, cooperation and hospitality extended to him throughout his assignment.
The outgoing ambassador described his tenure in Pakistan as a memorable and rewarding experience and reaffirmed his personal commitment to continued efforts to strengthen Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations.
The Prime Minister wished Ambassador Al-Malki continued success and the very best in his future endeavours.
