Islamabad, November 23,2024-The government of Pakistan has decided to shut down internet services across the country starting midnight in anticipation of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) planned protest, official sources revealed on Saturday.
According to sources, the internet shutdown will include Wi-Fi services, leaving only mobile networks operational. However, the authorities may also suspend mobile services if deemed necessary based on the situation.
The measure has been taken as a precautionary step to maintain law and order during the protests. Further updates on service availability will depend on the evolving circumstances.
