Peshawar, November 24, 2024–PTI leader and former President Dr. Arif Alvi has said that the time for negotiations is over and the government has no choice but to release Imran Khan.

Speaking to the media before departing for Islamabad from Peshawar, Alvi affirmed his readiness to make sacrifices for the PTI founder. “Imran Khan will have to be released because the government has no other option,” he stated.

Alvi, who is part of the PTI protest convoy from Peshawar, emphasized that no call from Imran Khan has ever failed. “The government must release him. There is no alternative,” he reiterated.

He further stressed the need for the country and judiciary to be liberated, highlighting that Imran Khan has never compromised on principles. “On election day, 70 percent of the people stood with us, and today, that number has grown to 90 percent,” Alvi claimed, adding that the global community is questioning the government’s actions.
