Islamabad, September 6, 2026: The foreign ministers of Pakistan, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye and the United Arab Emirates have strongly condemned statements by Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz regarding the displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.

In a joint statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the ministers rejected proposals and plans aimed at forcibly removing Palestinians from their land, describing such statements and measures as a flagrant violation of international law, including international humanitarian law, and a direct threat to the legitimate and inalienable rights of the Palestinian people.

The foreign ministers reaffirmed their unequivocal rejection of any attempts or plans to displace Palestinians, whether within or outside the Occupied Palestinian Territory, under any pretext or justification.

They warned that turning calls for forced displacement into declared policy or concrete measures to uproot Palestinians from their land would have grave consequences for regional peace and stability.

The ministers said such actions would also directly challenge international efforts aimed at achieving peace, including US President Donald Trump’s Comprehensive Plan to End the Gaza Conflict, which explicitly rejects forced displacement.

They stressed that the Gaza Strip is an integral part of the Occupied Palestinian Territory and underscored the need to preserve the territorial unity of Gaza and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.

The ministers reaffirmed that the only path towards a just and lasting peace is the implementation of the two-state solution, with the establishment of an independent Palestinian state along the lines of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with relevant resolutions of international legitimacy.

They also called on the international community, particularly the United Nations Security Council, to fulfil its responsibilities and firmly oppose any attempts to impose a new demographic or geographic reality in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.

The ministers urged the international community to ensure respect for international law and reaffirmed their continued support for the steadfastness of the Palestinian people on their land.

They also reiterated their rejection of all attempts to erase the Palestinian cause or undermine the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
