Islamabad, September 12, 2026: The Spokesperson to President Asif Ali Zardari has clarified that the President’s recent visit abroad was entirely private and all expenses related to the trip were personally borne by the President.
According to a clarification issued on Saturday in response to reports appearing in a section of the media, the aircraft used for the visit was privately chartered by President Zardari.
The spokesperson said all expenses related to the aircraft, including the crew, parking and stay, as well as other associated costs, were paid by the President himself.
The spokesperson issued the clarification to dispel reports concerning the nature and financing of the President’s recent foreign visit.
