Sialkot, September 16, 2026: Portuguese football club FC Porto has partnered with Sialkot Football Academy, a flagship project of Forward Sports, to establish its first Dragon Force Academy in Pakistan.
The academy will introduce FC Porto’s internationally recognised training methodology to young Pakistani footballers while also supporting the development of coaches and managers.
The initiative is expected to provide talented young Pakistanis with opportunities to enhance their skills both on and off the pitch and pursue pathways towards international football.
With Dragon Force Academies already operating in countries including Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Türkiye, Mozambique, India, Cabo Verde and Cyprus, Pakistan will become part of FC Porto’s growing international academy network.
The partnership also marks a sports diplomacy initiative between Portugal and Pakistan, using football to strengthen people-to-people ties and promote youth development.
The initiative aims to build stronger links between the two countries through football while contributing to the development of Pakistan’s young sporting talent.
