Islamabad, January 13, 2025: The founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, have filed a petition in the Islamabad High Court seeking acquittal in the Toshakhana II case.

They have challenged the decision of the Special Judge Central, which had earlier rejected their acquittal plea.

The petition states that the trial court’s decision on November 14 to dismiss the acquittal request was unlawful. The PTI founder and Bushra Bibi have requested the High Court to overturn the verdict and grant their acquittal in the Toshakhana II case.

The petition names the Special Judge Central, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), and others as respondents in the case.
