Islamabad, January 30, 2025: Pakistani music continues to make waves globally, with yet another remarkable achievement. The hit song “Pasoori”, from Coke Studio Season 14, has officially surpassed 1 billion streams on YouTube Music, making it the first-ever Coke Studio song to reach this milestone.

Sung by Ali Sethi and Shae Gill, Pasoori has captivated audiences worldwide with its unique blend of folk and contemporary sounds, cementing Pakistan’s place on the global music map.

The milestone was celebrated by Coke Studio 14’s producer, Xulfi, who shared the news on Instagram, calling it an “unbelievable blessing.” He posted pictures of the team celebrating the achievement, gifting framed artwork featuring the song’s title as a token of appreciation.

“Life has been an incredible and unpredictable experience. And THIS happening during this journey is an unbelievable blessing. A billion global streams for Pasoori on YouTube and YouTube Music. The first Coke Studio song to reach a billion.”

He also thanked fans for their unwavering support, adding,

“This and literally everything happens because of you—the listeners, the audience. Audiences from all over the world. Shukriya for showing your love for art and artists. Mubarak ho, Zeeshan Sikander. Hard work has paid off.”

Since its release, Pasoori has enjoyed immense international acclaim, becoming one of Pakistan’s most streamed and shared songs globally. Its success highlights the expanding influence of Pakistani music, proving that its melodies resonate far beyond borders.
