Islamabad, February 9, 2025 – Pakistan’s IT exports surged by 28% to $1.86 billion, with further growth expected, Minister of State for IT Shaza Fatima Khawaja announced at LEAP 2025 during the Pakistan-Saudi Business Forum.

Highlighting the Digital Nation Act 2025, Khawaja called it a game-changer for Pakistan’s tech and innovation ecosystem. She also revealed plans to host a Digital Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Forum in Islamabad to attract global investors.

Under the Pakistan-Saudi Vision 2030, both nations are deepening collaboration in emerging technologies, reinforcing Pakistan’s ambition to become a regional technology hub. The government, under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, remains committed to accelerating digital economic growth through strategic partnerships.
