Karachi, February 11, 2025: Pakistan cricket legend Hanif Mohammad will be posthumously honored with induction into the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Hall of Fame on February 12. His son, Shoaib Mohammad, will accept the commemorative plaque and cap on his behalf, PCB officials confirmed.

Hanif Mohammad, one of Pakistan’s most iconic batters, was originally named among the PCB Hall of Fame inductees in 2021. However, his formal induction was repeatedly delayed due to scheduling conflicts and administrative transitions.

“This recognition was long overdue, but due to various logistical challenges and changes in management, the ceremony couldn’t take place until now,” a PCB source stated.

The induction will take place during Pakistan’s tri-nation ODI series match against South Africa in Karachi.
