Dubai, February 11, 2025: Prominent American businessman and hedge fund manager Gentry Beach has expressed his intent to fast-track investment plans in Pakistan, recognizing the country’s improving economic landscape.

Beach, a Texas-based investor with close business ties to the family of US President Donald Trump, shared his investment vision during a meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Dubai. The discussions centered on Pakistan’s economic potential and investment opportunities, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).

Praising Pakistan’s recent economic progress, Beach described the government’s policies as “favorable for business and investment” and conveyed strong interest in exploring opportunities across multiple sectors.

Prime Minister Shehbaz welcomed the interest, emphasizing that “Pakistan offers vast investment prospects, and the government is actively working to facilitate foreign investors by ensuring ease of doing business.” He added that this was an ideal time for global investors to capitalize on Pakistan’s growing market.

Highlighting the longstanding ties between the US and Pakistan, the premier reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to strengthening trade and investment relations between the two nations.

Shehbaz Sharif is currently in Dubai on a two-day official visit to attend the World Governments Summit at the invitation of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
