Islamabad, February 13, 2025: Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir is set to visit multiple Green Pakistan Initiative (GPI) projects tomorrow (Friday) to review ongoing agricultural development efforts. Accompanied by key government officials, he will assess the progress of initiatives aimed at enhancing Pakistan’s agriculture sector.

During the visit, Gen Munir will inaugurate several key projects, including GPI’s Smart Agri Farm, Green Agri Mall and Research Facility Centers.

He will also receive briefings on recent advancements in agricultural innovation, highlighting the initiative’s achievements. The visit will feature an exhibition of modern agricultural machinery and technology, showcasing innovations in corporate farming.

Additionally, government officials will tour model farms to observe best agricultural practices. With agriculture being a cornerstone of Pakistan’s economy, the Green Pakistan Initiative (GPI), in collaboration with the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), continues to play a pivotal role in driving sectoral growth and sustainability.
