CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025: Registration open for free Core i7 laptops

Lahore, March 3, 2025: The Punjab government has officially launched the CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025, aiming to distribute 110,000 latest-generation laptops to outstanding students across the province. The initiative also reserves 2,000 laptops for minority students, ensuring inclusivity in educational opportunities.

The scheme is open to BS students enrolled in public sector universities and colleges (1st & 2nd semester). Matriculation and intermediate graduates meeting the eligibility criteria.

Laptop distribution breakdown

  • 20,000 for university students
  • 14,000 for college students
  • 4,000 for technical & agricultural college students
  • 2,000 for medical & dental students
  • 32% of laptops allocated to students from South Punjab

Eligibility criteria

  • Public sector universities/colleges: Minimum 65% marks in intermediate.
  • Medical & dental colleges: Minimum 80% marks in intermediate.
  • Must hold domicile from any district in Punjab.
  • Must not have received a laptop under any previous government scheme.

Students can register online by visiting the official website: cmlaptophed.punjab.gov.pk and submitting their details.

According to Provincial Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat, within just a few hours of launching the online portal, over 34,000 students had already registered, reflecting the high demand and enthusiasm for the scheme.
