Lahore, March 5, 2025: Kane Williamson and Rachin Ravindra produced stunning centuries to guide New Zealand to an imposing 362-6 against South Africa in the 2nd Semi-Final of the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 at Gaddafi Stadium on Tuesday.

Opting to bat first, New Zealand’s opening duo of Rachin Ravindra and Will Young provided a steady start, adding 48 runs before Young was dismissed for 21.

Ravindra then found strong support from captain Kane Williamson, as the pair stitched together a 164-run partnership, putting the Kiwis in command.

Rachin Ravindra played a brilliant knock of 108 off 101 balls, hitting 13 fours and 1 six, before falling at 212-2. Kane Williamson continued his sublime form, registering 102 off 96 balls, laced with 10 fours and 2 sixes. In the latter stages, Daryl Mitchell and Glenn Phillips provided finishing touches with quickfire contributions, ensuring New Zealand reached a challenging total against a strong South African bowling attack.

South Africa will soon begin their chase of 363 in a high-stakes encounter. The winner of this semi-final will face India in the final on Sunday.
